1. Acceptance of terms

2. Who we are

4. Donations

  • Donations made through the Site are voluntary contributions to support Umeed Helping Hand's programmes.
  • Online payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway; we do not store your full card or bank credentials.
  • Donations made by bank transfer or wallet are confirmed once you upload a receipt and our team verifies the transfer against your donation record.
  • Tax receipts (80G, where applicable) are issued to the name and details provided at the time of donation. Please double-check these before submitting.

5. Volunteering & programme participation

Submitting a volunteer application does not guarantee a placement. We will contact you using the details you provide to discuss next steps, background checks where relevant, and scheduling.

6. Intellectual property

Text, graphics, logos, and photos on the Site belong to Umeed Helping Hand or are used under licence, unless credited otherwise. You may share links to our pages, but may not reproduce our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

7. Third-party links and services

The Site links to and relies on third-party services (payment gateways, font and library providers, map and social platforms). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third parties.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Some pages remain available offline once visited, via the installed app's offline mode, but this is a convenience feature, not a guarantee of availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Umeed Helping Hand is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
